At RADA, we believe that sustainable peace begins with the people at the grassroots level. Over the past few years, Cameroon has experienced significant challenges due to the ongoing Anglophone conflict, affecting countless communities. In response, RADA has taken bold steps to empower young leaders with the skills needed for conflict resolution, mediation, and storytelling for change.

Our recent training program has successfully equipped 50 community leaders with practical tools to mediate disputes, advocate for peace, and drive dialogue at the local level. One participant, John Mbuh, shared how the training has enabled him to mediate between disputing parties in his village, fostering an atmosphere of trust and collaboration.

Through our grassroots conflict analysis report, we have been able to capture the perceptions of youths and their involvement in resolving the Anglophone crisis. The report has not only fueled advocacy efforts but has also been referenced by international organizations to support dialogue as a viable solution to the conflict.

RADA’s efforts underscore our belief that lasting peace is possible when communities are actively involved. We are proud to be part of this transformative journey, and we continue to invest in the future of peacebuilding in Cameroon.

Join us in creating sustainable peace—one community at a time.
