The RADA Breast Cancer Program (RBCP) is a dedicated initiative by RADA to raise awareness, promote early detection, and provide support for individuals affected by breast cancer in Cameroon. With breast cancer being one of the leading causes of death among women, RBCP focuses on educating communities about the importance of regular screening and early intervention to improve survival rates.
Through community outreach, awareness campaigns, and partnerships with local health centers, RBCP offers free or low-cost breast cancer screenings, helping women detect the disease in its early stages when it is most treatable. The program also provides educational workshops that teach women how to perform self-examinations and understand the risk factors associated with breast cancer.
In addition to promoting early detection, RBCP offers emotional and psychological support to individuals and families affected by breast cancer. This includes counseling services, support groups, and patient navigation to help those diagnosed with breast cancer access the necessary medical care and treatment.
RBCP collaborates with local healthcare providers, NGOs, and international organizations to advocate for better healthcare services and policies that ensure affordable and timely access to breast cancer treatments in Cameroon. The program also actively engages in fundraising efforts to support breast cancer research and provide financial assistance to patients in need.
Through the RADA Breast Cancer Program, RADA is committed to reducing the impact of breast cancer in communities, empowering women with knowledge, and ensuring they receive the care and support they deserve.
Join us in the fight against breast cancer—together, we can save lives!
